I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1982. My special interests include working with couples, individuals, on a wide range of problems people experience in their lives, who wish to achieve a new and better understanding/resolution of personal and/or relational conflicts. Sometimes, I facilitate groups. A better understanding of symptoms can be accomplished within a reasonably short time, especially once people recognize how to identify the build up of the symptom. Others may wish to work on insight into issues that lay deeper inside the personality, which don't have immediate rational explanations. I supervise psychotherapy students from AUT, and psychotherapists in private practice. I am also a member of the NZAP Supervisor's group. I am an experienced Group Facilitator. I am also a Founding Member of NZIPP and a member of NZAP Supervisor's group.
